3/28/2024 0 Comments Famous old female dog trainers![]() He is overall a fairly calm puppy, but needed basic manners. We took our 6 month old golden, Riggs, to Sue for the 1 week puppy board and train. I HIGHLY recommend Calm Family Dog training to anyone! She is the sweetest lady and really cares about the dogs and getting them the best trained they can be. I trusted her with my most prized possession, and I wouldn't trade my decision for anything. Throughout the stay she kept me up-to-date with Maui's progress via pictures and videos. Sue explained everything I needed to know, very in depth, and allowed me to ask questions and interact virtually. Because of COVID-19, Sue and I had to do a virtual return lesson with Maui. I work with her every day and follow the at-home guidelines that Sue provides. ![]() Everything that Sue taught her during the program has easily been transferred over to at home with me. She still had her lovable and playful personality, but she was so much more obedient and well behaved. The main areas were: leash pulling, walking, jumping on people, and listening to commands. Maui was already a good dog, but she came back even better. Sue of Calm Family Dog training was EXCELLENT with my Mini Aussie, Maui. I’m excited to have a dog that will fit into our family dynamic well and not be a struggle every minute. I know if we have issues come up now that our puppy is home, Sue will help us work through them. He already seems to be a calmer, happier dog and we are a calmer, happier house for it! I would (and do) recommend Calm Family Dog Training to my friends. It was great to see Sue post pictures and video updates of our puppy’s progress throughout the week because it gave us insight into her process and what we could expect when he came home. If you can get a corgi puppy to resist the urge to herd his kids, that’s major! Sue gave us some tips for issues that arose before his week at “puppy camp” came, which I really appreciated. ![]() We just brought our 4 month old corgi puppy home after his week with Sue and he just held “place” for over an hour In our crazy house with wild running children, so I’d call that a total success.
